Culture Clothing  - Luxurious  Comfort!

[_Jingle plays_]Second Person Singing the Jingle

"CULTURE... CULTURE CLOTHINGGG!!"

This audio advert is essential. This is the introduction of the clothing brand to the country. It explains what the clothing brand is, how they feel material wise and where to find the clothing, whether it be in store to feel or online to view and potentially order. The slogan ‘Luxurious Comfort’ has been included to be enticing as they are both two major parts that people seek when looking for new clothes to buy, the quality and comfort of them. The jingle would be played on my guitar with something short but catchy to stick in the head to get the company and brand across and go viral through people. The Narrator would be me or someone else from my household, using an audio recording software and microphone, as well as the guitar jingle, having the microphone right up against the amp.

[_Jingle Plays_]

This advert is only a small one. The purpose is not to be excessive and ‘in the audience face’. The purpose is to just be there in presence and not be forgotten about. It is an advert that can be relied on anytime, whether they have customers and consistent orders or need a boost in advertisement as sales may be slower than anticipated. It offers what is on offer from the company and where they could be found. The slogan is once again shown in the advert as it part of the company and a method of gaining the audience that culture need to gain the exposure to become a top brand.

Offer ends Midnight July 5th ~ #CULTURE20GETHER – 50% of all proceeds go to local charities

in respect of these difficult times.

This audio advertisement showcases an offer that is available to all buyers. This entices people in as Britain is country where bargains are the best friends of shoppers. The fact that I have mentioned ‘Luxurious clothing for bargain prices’ is again, to entice and bring in new customers to experience the service and experience the brand and the services they offer.

I have also added a COVID-19 act in. The offer is in solidarity with the recent outbreak. This is why there is a quote at the end stating that proceeds will go towards charities who have been affected by the virus in the negative way, to keep them up and doing what they do for society. This will show that the company is also a positive based company with good morals and ethics, always trying to help out the local communities.

--------------------------------------------------

The other type of advertisment for my campaign is audio advertisment, such as what you would hear whilst listening to the radio when driving, in the barbers or doing any handy DIY work. This was put together using the app, GarageBand on my iPad, as I made a beat, and spoke into the microphone, with the help of my mum and dad, for voice and advert variation.

I decided to do a radio/audio advert as I thought it was an uncommon thing for a clothing brand to do, and would be a perfect thing to try and pull off as it could turn out to be really effective. This is because, say you're driving your car and a catchy advert comes on the radio with a jingle that has the potenitial to be catchy, the right side of your brain will take the sound in and in-bed it to make you remember. Radio is the only medium that goes to the right brain and only to the brain. This will ultimately stay in your head and make you buy the product as that is what the right side of your brain dictates.. it is your buying brain. I understand this from research I completed on why radio adverts are beneficial and a good method of advertising. I found this particular video the most interesting and the message was put across clearly for me to understand.

First I had to create a plan for what I wanted to include in the advert. I done this by producing a mindmap of ideas that could be used as a guidance in delivering the final product. This massively helped me with producing the final two scripts (scroll up to see in blue) that would be used.

The beat was created using the Garage Band app. This app initally recorded everything and it is how we made the two radio adverts. I wanted the beat to sound like it was modern but 'trendy' to fit in with the whole style and genre of the brand.

This is the background beat I went for:

After this beat was complete, I then got my parents to help with the speech in the script. The style of advert I wanted was for a conversation about the clothing brand which would mention the place to find them on the internet, understand who the target audience is and the quality of the clothing by giving opinions on the looks etc. I then done the same to the second script, however, I did change it up slightly for as I had to slogans in mind. Instead of using 'Luxurious Comfort' again, I decided to use the phrase, 'The New Generation in Clothing'. This basically shows that Culture Clothing is the new big brand that will appear reguarly on the streets.

Here is Audio Advert 1:

Audio Advert 2:

Jingle
The two adverts both include the same jingle. This is due to the fact that it is essential to the brand and is what makes the brand rememorable to the people who listen to it. It states, 'Culture.. Culture Clothing.. The new fashion brand in Liverpool'. I made sure I mentioned the 'New fashion brand' as it may encourage people to adventure and see what the brand is about and what they have to offer. This is pivotal as this would have huge potential to gain the exposure the brand needs to take off and compete. I also wanted to include the idenity of where the brand was originated from, that being Liverpool. This is becuase it will reach out to the people within the city to buy the clothes, which would boost the brand and allow them to reach out further places around the country or the world. We also hear a reoccuring phrase and statement that it is 'ideal for the boys of the family' or 'Perfect for us men'. By including this in the advert, it is stating the target audience and who the brand appeals to, being a menswear clothing brand. This would be essential on the radio adverts especially as there is no visual engagement to see what the shirts look like, so establishing that target audience and making it clear to the listner, will gain more understanding about the brand and potenitally more growth.
