Unit 21 - Proposals

Client Brief Analysis & Creation

Above is a written proposal for an event to help with fundraising. There are outlined details of what will make this event successful and what will allow it to work, as the people who view the document, will understand what is planned to do, when it is going to be done and how.

Following the codes, conventions and specifications of this proposal, I created my own for my campaign. This proposal outlines the events that would be happening across the city of Liverpool, which would allow it be be awarded the Capital of Culture of 2021, bringing in more funds and visitors to the city. It outlines the dates and budgets, which are both equally as important and vital for the campaign to reveice the funding and green light to go ahead.

There are elements in which I have chosen to include because of how relatable they are to the city and the fact they are a big part of the city's identity. For example, Liverpool has a huge audience in football, with many young people who play themselves. Here I wanted to implement the two clubs of Everton and Liverpool, as it is a dream for the grass root players to play at that level or setting. Due to football being a huge part of the culture of the city, as well as the passion of the sport, I figured working with each club to give casual grass roots football players the chance to play on the professional grounds of Anfield and Goodison Park, would boost the campaign, giving the funds and capabilities to improve the grass root football scene in Liverpool.
